Chance2Shine Launches New Ethical Recruitment Agency

Blackpool Council’s award winning work placement programme Chance2Shine is inviting local businesses to a free event to launch their new recruitment agency and find out more about how the service plans to bring together recruiting employers with people keen to get back into paid employment.

Chance2Shine Recruitment will offer employers an alternative to traditional recruitment services by using an ethical business model – any profits will be reinvested into ‘back-to-work’ schemes for local people and will be delivered by a Council service with over 10 years’ experience of providing high quality, professional programmes to help local people move into work with local employers.

The event is being held on the 6 November from 10am -12pm in the Winter Gardens Renaissance Room and all employers are welcome to book a place at the event.

The event will also include the presentation of Chance2Shine Employer Awards to some employers who already participate in the scheme to recognise the valuable contribution they are making in supporting local people back to work, and Fair Train will present the Gold Standard Work Placement Award to the Chance2Shine delivery team.

Guest Speakers: Councillor Gillian Campbell-Deputy Leader of the Council – responsible for Tourism, Economic Growth and Jobs; & Rod Natkiel, CEO of Fair Train
