The Lancashire Forum Creative
Drawing on the latest research and a wealth of experience of working with SME leaders and managers, UCLan is devising a business, leadership and innovation development programme designed specifically for the needs of those working in and running SMEs.
Find out more information below on what the Lancashire Forum Creative has to offer….
Who is it for?
At UCLan the Lancashire Forum Creative is designed specifically to meet the learning and development needs of creative and digital SMEs.
The Lancashire Forum Creative is a fully-funded ERDF-funded programme (meaning there is no cost to participants) so all companies involved must be:
•Based in Lancashire
•Employ Fewer than 250 full-time employees
•Have an annual turnover less than £40 million
•Have received less than £160,000 of publicly funded support in the last 3 years
•Be a business to business company
What will it entail?
Every company has different aims, objectives, needs and goals. Our highly experienced facilitators can work with you to decide which Lancashire Forum Creative route is best for you and your business, be it joining an Action Learning Set with other SME leaders, attending innovative and expert-led workshops, or joining a cutting-edge business development programme.
All aspects of the Lancashire Forum Creative are underpinned by peer-to-peer learning that means you work with others ‘in the same boat’ to help you learn and collaborate with other SME leaders who understand the world in which you operate. As the programme is specifically designed for the creative and digital sector so you will have the chance to shape the programme yourself.
How will it help my business?
The Lancashire Forum Creative team has more than 30 years’ collective experience of working with SME leaders and this experience has allowed us to develop a deep understanding of how to help SME leaders develop themselves and their companies. Participants we have worked with on previous development programmes have reported:
•Business growth and increased profits
•Increased confidence as leaders
•Becoming more strategic in their thinking
•Better equipped to delegate and empower staff
•New products and services developed and brought to market
•Extended and greatly developed network of like-minded peers
Alongside this, participation also provides access to a huge range of further entrepreneurial programmes, services and opportunities across UCLan.
This sounds great. How do I get involved?
