The University of Central Lancashire is offering funding support to businesses aiming to develop innovative new products, services or processes by utilising the University’s academic expertise.
One hundred new businesses have been set up thanks to help from Blackpool Council this year.

And they began with a Road to Enterprise course, held by Blackpool Council’s Get Started team, which is part of the Start Up Lancashire service supported by the European Regional Development Fund.
A mix of local and international food businesses are set to become the first tenants to set up shop in Blackpool’s new Talbot Gateway Central Business District.
