  • « How Hackers Target SMEs — and How to Protect Your Business – UCLan
  • Enterprising Vision Awards 2026 – Celebrating Women in Business Awards »

This spring, the Centre for SME & Enterprise Development at the University of Lancashire is hosting a series of practical workshops, expert sessions and networking events designed to support entrepreneurs and SMEs at different stages of their business journey.

Whether you are launching a new venture, strengthening your business foundations or preparing for growth, the SME Growth Series offers opportunities to develop new skills, gain expert insight and connect with other business leaders across the region.

The series is organised around three themes:

Build – Strengthen the foundations of your business
Grow – Develop strategies and leadership for growth
Connect – Build relationships and learn from other entrepreneurs

Building a High-Performance Culture

Organisational culture plays a critical role in business performance, employee engagement and long-term growth.

This workshop, led by Keith McMurtrie (To the Summit,) explores how leaders can shape culture intentionally, create strong team alignment and build environments where people perform at their best.

Participants will gain practical insight into leadership behaviours, communication approaches and organisational practices that support high-performing teams.

Designed for business leaders and managers.
