ART B&B Re-opening with a '500 Nights of Rest for the NHS Campaign'
ART B&B will be reopening in the last week of July and to celebrate they have launched a campaign to provide 500 FREE nights for NHS workers over the first 12 months. This campaign is crowdfunding for 500 stays for NHS workers at the wonderful Art B&B, due to re-open in late July.
As the clapping stops, let’s pay our respect to the nurses, doctors, cleaners, porters and others who have been looking after us in a time of national crisis.
As a Community Interest Company, Art B&B will donate 50 stays for free and will only charge the running cost (£55) for the others. So by pledging, you will be rewarding both NHS key workers and supporting the arts whilst people sleep.
This remarkable B&B has 19 artist-commissioned bedrooms with a maximum capacity for 41 people. The ground floor has two spaces, one for exhibitions (and live performances once we can mingle together again), the other space hosts a small, welcoming bar area which is already ‘socially-distanced’ in its layout and service design.
The Stay
Your pledge, however large or small, will gift to a NHS key worker a simple, high quality hotel room where thought and attention to detail has gone into every aspect but which is not overly precious, fussy or inaccessible.
With 1.5m employees in the NHS we cannot treat everyone. However, Art B&B will work with a series of partner trusts across the country to find the fairest way to select those deserving this special reward.

The Rewards
£5 and it’s your round! This buys a NHS worker a ‘double anything’ at the bar.
£15 and you receive your honorary ‘Art B&B Lifelong Landlady’* certificate. Designed by artist Michael Trainor, it is a small work of art itself.
£55 and you can treat a NHS worker (plus one) to a night’s stay at Art B&B at cost price. We will leave a personal ‘thank you’ postcard in the room from you and we will send you a Landlady certificate too.
