ECC Establishes New Blackpool Office at The Robinson

European Consumer Claims (ECC) has recently joined The Robinson business community, choosing our Blackpool town centre workspace for their new local office.

ECC specialises in holiday ownership and retirement property ownership release and claims, employing more than 100 people across offices in the UK and Spain.

The new office at The Robinson provides ECC with a dedicated base, conveniently located close to the many holiday parks across the area, as well as a professional and accessible environment in which to meet clients face to face.

ECC’s Senior Account Manager Steve Walsh, who is originally from Blackpool, has returned to the town after spending 20 years living abroad and working from ECC’s Spanish office.

Steve’s introduction to The Robinson came by chance, after noticing the building while travelling through Blackpool town centre. Following a tour with our Workspace Operations Coordinator and Building Manager, Louis Darbyshire, he quickly recognised its potential as a base for ECC’s Blackpool operations.

“I was immediately impressed. The standard of the offices and co-working space is exceptional. Everything has been completely refurbished, and it feels state of the art,” says Steve. “It was important for us to have somewhere professional and accessible to meet with clients face to face.”

While ECC’s office was being finalised, Steve made use of The Robinson’s co-working space, giving him the flexibility to begin working from the building and establish the company’s Blackpool presence straight away.

Steve added, “The Robinson team have been incredibly accommodating. Everybody has been welcoming and there’s a really positive atmosphere around the building.

Having grown up here, I can genuinely say I’ve never seen office space quite like this in Blackpool. The quality of the facilities, the central location and the professionalism of the team really stand out.”

With two members of staff currently based at The Robinson, ECC is already looking ahead, with plans to grow its Blackpool team and the potential to expand into additional office space within the building.

“We have the potential to grow the Blackpool team to between four and six people and, as the team develops, we would certainly consider taking additional office space,” says Steve. “There is room for us to grow, while the meeting rooms and co-working space give us the flexibility we need as the business develops. I would have no hesitation in recommending The Robinson to businesses of any size looking for a professional business hub in Blackpool.”
