With funding due to end soon, Blackpool businesses are encouraged to apply now to secure fully funded support.
How local businesses are using the funding
Businesses across Blackpool are already using the grant funding to invest in practical improvements that reduce both carbon emissions and operating costs. Funded projects include solar panel installation, boiler upgrades and more efficient heating systems as well as the transition to electric fleet vehicles.
These upgrades not only help to lower energy consumption but also help businesses protect themselves against future price increases and changing regulations.
Supporting businesses to reduce costs and carbon

Led by Sustainability Specialist John Keen, the Academy works closely with Blackpool-based businesses to provide expert guidance, practical insight and tailored support, helping organisations make informed decisions and focus on actions that deliver measurable environmental and commercial benefits.
