£5,000 Grant Funding Available for Blackpool Based Businesses
£5,000 Grant Funding Available for Blackpool Based Businesses

The Blackpool Net Zero Business Academy are offering eligible Blackpool based businesses up to £5,000 in fully funded grant support* to help deliver real, measurable sustainability improvements in 2026.

The start of a new year is the perfect time for business leaders to review priorities, reset strategies and plan for long-term success. As sustainability becomes an increasingly important consideration, many businesses are looking for practical ways to better understand their energy use and reduce costs. With funding due to end soon, Blackpool businesses are encouraged to apply now to secure fully funded support.

How local businesses are using the funding

Businesses across Blackpool are already using the grant funding to invest in practical improvements that reduce both carbon emissions and operating costs. Funded projects include solar panel installation, boiler upgrades and more efficient heating systems as well as the transition to electric fleet vehicles.

These upgrades not only help to lower energy consumption but also help businesses protect themselves against future price increases and changing regulations.

Supporting businesses to reduce costs and carbon

Rising energy costs, evolving regulations and growing expectations from customers and supply chains, mean businesses are increasingly expected to demonstrate environmental responsibility alongside commercial success.

Led by Sustainability Specialist John Keen, the Academy works closely with Blackpool-based businesses to provide expert guidance, practical insight and tailored support, helping organisations make informed decisions and focus on actions that deliver measurable environmental and commercial benefits.
