Optimised Choose The Robinson as Their New Blackpool Office
We’re delighted to welcome energy and sustainability consultancy Optimised to The Robinson, as their team settle into our largest private office.
Working with organisations across the UK, Optimised help organisations control costs, improve performance and reach net zero through connected data, deep expertise and practical delivery.
Optimised have offices based all around the country. And as flexible working has become a more established part of the business, their Blackpool office became too big.
The team wanted a space better suited to the number of people working from the office, without losing the ability to be able to bring everyone together. For CEO James Wood and Senior Energy Analyst James Stoker-Talbot, a central location, the quality of the working environment and a building with modern sustainability measures were all important considerations.
James Stoker-Talbot explained, “When we started looking for a new office, The Robinson straight away ticked all the boxes. It’s in a fantastic town centre location with great transport links, it has a fresh and modern feel and, importantly for us, it has sustainability credentials that align with us as a net zero business.”
The Robison’s Workspace Operations Coordinator and Building Manager, Louis Darbyshire, has worked closely with Optimised to arrange initial tours of the building, answer questions and help them explore how the space could work for their team.
James said, “Moving office is a big decision and we wanted everyone to be on board, but once we’d met the team and seen the building, it was an easy decision for all of us.”
Their new office accommodates up to 16 people, with the co-working space and meeting rooms providing additional options for visiting colleagues and meetings with clients.
James continued, “We’ve already had visitors from our other offices, as well as client meetings, where we’ve made use of the co-working space, and the feedback on the facilities has been fantastic. It has the same modern, professional feel as some of the offices we’ve used in bigger cities.”
The team has also been able to put their own stamp on the office, adding Optimised branding to create a space that feels like their own.
“Louis has been really accommodating. Allowing us to add our own stamp to the office has really helped it feel even more like home.” James added, “When people come to visit, we’re proud to show them around the building. It’s modern, the facilities are fantastic and everyone is really friendly, there is a great community feel developing throughout the building. I’d absolutely recommend The Robinson to other businesses looking for a space to work in Blackpool.”
